Batch injury metrics

Description

Batch runs several available injury metrics together and presents their key values in one summary. It is useful after loading a test with multiple occupants or when the same set of metrics is needed repeatedly.

When this feature is available

Batch processing becomes available when at least one batch-supported metric meets its requirements in the current curve selection or loaded test.

For a metric to be included:

  • The test type must be supported by that metric.
  • The required signals must be available in a qualifying measurement set.
  • The required channels must have a usable data status.
  • The occupant's ATD must be supported when the calculation requires ATD-specific data.
  • The group must satisfy any requirements created by the metric's current settings.

WebSAT evaluates each supported metric independently and enables batch processing when at least one metric is eligible.

Settings

The Subselect Injury Metrics list contains only eligible metrics. Use Select All or Clear All, then choose Run Batch. Batch uses the current settings shown on each individual metric button; it does not provide a second copy of those settings.

How WebSAT processes the data

  1. Evaluate each selected metric independently using its current settings and availability requirements.
  2. Identify every qualifying measurement set for the applicable occupants or locations.
  3. Run each eligible injury-metric calculation.
  4. Collect the principal result, IARV, percent of IARV, and available AIS risks.
  5. Preserve successful results if another selected metric cannot be calculated.

Reference values and injury risk

Batch does not introduce new limits or risk functions. Every row uses the reference value and risk function documented on that metric's individual page.

Results

The batch summary identifies the test, ATD, occupant location, metric, result value, IARV, percent of IARV, available AIS risks, and status. Open individual result tabs when you need full plots or supporting channels.
