Abdomen PC

Overview​

This test metric is specifically for the EuroSID test dummy. The EuroSID dummy has three uniaxial force transducers in the Y direction located in the abdomen.

Required Signals​

  • Abdomen 1 Force, Abdomen 2 Force, and Abdomen 3 Force (Y) in the EuroSID Dummy

Calculation​

  1. Filter all signals (CFC = 600)
  2. Sum the 3 force signals
  3. Compare to the IAV

Injury Criteria​

The EuroSID injury criteria for the abdomen is 2500 N.
